The Chicago House of Blues takes the largest and the most mainstream non-arena level tours, stuff like Behemoth/Dimmu Borgir and Ministry/Meshugga and Summer Slaughter. And then it treats the ticket buyers like crap. Picking up your will call tickets? Great, now go back outside and get on the line. Hold up your arms for the metal detector and the pat down, boys in one line, girls in the other. Start the openers playing before everyone is inside.

Okay, I have a bit of a grudge here. On the positive side, there is the irony value of having Behemoth play beneath the collection of holy symbols the HOB keeps on top of the stage...
